Lidl has been keen to deliver a new foodstore to serve Cheddar and the surrounding areas for some time.
The proposed Lidl site is part of a larger area which is allocated by Somerset Council for residential and commercial development. We have identified this site off Upper New Road which would provide a much-needed discount foodstore option for residents, whilst providing our most sustainable store format and full range of products.
